I think I was expecting more…it's very short. However, it did clarify some things for me, and hopefully get me going for my own writing.
A really clear guide, perfecto for newbies. It gives you each step clearly, well explained and evento comes with a video to clear up any doubts.
It has some very good points and is written in an easy-to-read format. I would recommend this to any beginning writer.
The information is good but the verse is so dang dry. It's hard to get through the book and get what you need. The book sounds great but I was disappointed.

I hate it when an author asks you to go to with a review, as does Mr. Batterson. And it ticks me off when a professional author allows typos and grammar mistakes. As does Mr. Batterson. However, this book goes right to the heart of what I need to know. Solid explanation with no padding or pretension.
