It's a normal day at the Metro Police Department until Detective David Graham is assigned to investigate the murder of a lawyer in a prominent law firm.

"Drop Dead Killers is an excellent intro to what I hope will be many more David Graham Thrillers from Ms. Martinez. The story line starts off fast with non stop action. No reading for several chapters to get the background in this book!! I couldn't put it down!! It is full of evil actions and revenge. Ms. Martinez's writing style is very vivid and you can "see" the story line unfold. In some instances in this book, that can sometimes be a little scary!! Definitely not a book for kids or teens. I highly suggest it to any one who enjoys mysteries or detective novels!! Thank You Ms. Martinez, looking forward to your next David Graham Thriller!!

Hard to believe this book had so many 5 star reviews. I couldn't even make it half way through. And, I rarely don't finish a book. This was pure ameuturish and the plot and characters were beyond belief. I can't remember if this was a free book or $0.99. I hope it was free. For $0.99 I could buy a comic book and get better writing. Amazon really needs a (zero) rating made available.Product details

Drop Dead Killers has some well-defined characters, though it contains few surprises with regards to plotting, as I would expect in a mystery/thriller/police novel. Ms. Martinez has made a good start on what purports to be a series involving one particular police detective. Few of her characters, however well presented, can be considered "sympathetic" in that the reader roots for them to succeed, but perhaps that is a function of the genre, with which this reviewer is not fully familiar. David Graham is a good guy with a dark past. Little does he know how dark its going to become.
Detective David Graham and his partner Alexis Hamilton are called to investigate the murder. A syringe on the floor, a dead body on the couch, everything pointing to suicide. During this investigation, more murders are taking place. Could it be a serial killer? The chief of police would like this solved fast. These attorney’s are from the same firm…someone has to have seen or heard something. Still no clues, the two detectives must find something, anything that can tie these murders together, and point to the killer.
Janet Martinez is going to take you on an incredible ride of betrayal, jealousy, and murder to an outstanding conclusion. From beginning to end this fast paced page turning story will leave you in shock and disbelief. It will amaze you to the length that someone can hold on to a thought of revenge. The planning of the murders have taken years of thought and patience. Once the killing begins…there will be no stopping the wave of human emotion and hidden secrets that mount to the final conclusion.
A story of extreme imagination. Boundless twists and turns will keep you enthralled in David and Alex’s investigation. A spectacular who-done-it. Although the author does give you the who…it is the why they did it that will leave you amazed, and wanting for more. A highly recommended read. 5/5
When a mysterious woman kills a scumbag lawyer, Detective David Graham thinks it's a straightforward case, but then another member of the same firm is murdered and things start to get complicated. Along with his cop partner Alex, David sets out to track down the killer and whatever it is that's driving her to these bizarre killings. When a friend takes David out on a double date, he meets the gorgeous Cassie and embarks on an affair. However, it seems his new girlfriend isn't the only one interested in the handsome detective and he begins to wonder if someone closer to home could be involved in the murders. Can he work out the killer's plan before it's too late?
'Drop Dead Killers' is the first book in the David Graham Thriller series. I read it in one go and for the most part, enjoyed it immensely. With gory details kept to a minimum, the action jigs along quite nicely and there are plenty false clues and reddish herrings to throw us off the murder trail. On the down side, Ms Martinez does tend to repeat herself a little, but it didn't spoil my reading pleasure.
All in all, a clever and somewhat intriguing murder mystery.

I enjoyed the book and will read more books by Janet Martiez. I will be looking for David Graham Thrillers book 2.
The cover and title of Drop Dead Killers caught my eye and I wasn’t disappointed with what was inside. It’s a story with a lot of excitement and proof that the female of the species really is more deadly than the male! Great characters and a fast-paced read that will keep you guessing. David Graham is a man I want to see more of and I will be looking for more in this series.
